New partnership makes it easier for Texas hospitals to implement life-saving safety technology for healthcare workers
ATLANTA, May 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — CENTEGIX, a leader in wearable duress badges, today announced it has been named an Industry Partner by the Texas Hospital Association (THA), a designation that streamlines access to vetted, high-impact solutions for hospitals and healthcare systems across Texas.
As an Industry Partner, CENTEGIX joins a select group of companies recognized by THA for meeting rigorous standards and delivering the highest value to member hospitals. The designation enables THA’s 400,000-member healthcare workforce to more easily implement CENTEGIX’s CrisisAlert™ solution—an innovative wearable staff duress badge that empowers healthcare workers to discreetly call for help and accelerates response times.
THA represents more than 85% of Texas acute-care hospitals and healthcare systems. These providers are experiencing violence and witnessing violence against healthcare workers at unprecedented levels: approximately 98% of Texas hospitals reported that workplace violence has remained constant or increased within the last three years.
“At the Texas Hospital Association, we understand the complex and rapidly changing forces that impact efficient, quality hospital operations,” says Alex Huff, Vice President, Health Technology Innovation, Texas Hospital Association. “Our knowledge of the Texas healthcare marketplace allows us to save our hospitals valuable time vetting vendors and facilitate introductions with best-in-class vendors that can meet their needs.”
CENTEGIX: Leading the Industry in Safety
CENTEGIX is a mission-driven leader in wearable safety technology, with over 600,000 CrisisAlert™ duress badges deployed in more than 14,000 locations across the U.S. The CENTEGIX Safety Platform™ combines the CrisisAlert™ cloud-based solution, dynamic digital mapping, accessible automated reporting, and visitor management to help leaders enhance safety organization-wide. In an emergency, time is the most critical factor for a positive outcome. CrisisAlert™ enables healthcare workers to discreetly summon help when needed and facilitates a rapid response.
“When healthcare staff feel protected, they can focus their efforts on patient outcomes and experience,” said Andrea Greco, SVP of Healthcare Safety, CENTEGIX. “We are reducing response times and improving outcomes in the healthcare facilities we support, and look forward to bringing the Safety Platform and CrisisAlert to even more facilities to protect both staff and patients.”
CrisisAlert™ delivers unique capabilities not possible with other duress button solutions, including:
CrisisAlert™ was also designed intentionally without Real-Time Location System (RTLS) to avoid tracking employees until they trigger an alert. This alleviates privacy concerns that contribute to lack of adoption.
“It’s critical for healthcare workers to feel protected, without having to sacrifice their privacy or consent to being tracked with asset monitoring tools,” explains CENTEGIX Vice President of Healthcare Safety in Texas, Ashley Blanke. “We empower CrisisAlert users to decide how and when to share their locations and signal for support.”
