SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Helia Care today announced that it has completed the system-wide rollout of its transaction network solution with Lifepoint Health, marking the completion of a highly successful transition to a new transaction paradigm for expensive medical devices.

Helia Care, a medical device transaction network, provides healthcare providers, distributors, and suppliers with a SaaS-based frictionless provider-supplier network that replaces the wasteful, time-consuming, and expensive “bill-only” transaction. The solution, an upfront, digital handshake that structures, aligns, and enhances supplier and provider data, replaces the cumbersome bill-only process, resulting in a hard-dollar reduction of hospitals’ supply chain expenditures.

Bill-only transactions have been a problem in healthcare transactions where payment is made after the product/device has been used. In these transactions, there is no up-front alignment between buyer and seller – and the process of reconciling the sides has been a major challenge.
