Denied and unpaid claims represent a multi-billion-dollar issue for the healthcare industry, creating a significant administrative burden for providers. Each year, insurance denials increase by 10 percent, while providers spend $26 billion pursuing unpaid claims. At the same time, industry-wide staffing shortages impact 63 percent of RCM teams, leaving healthcare billers more overwhelmed than ever.
