Pause and Alo Moves Partner to Bring Immersive Cold Plunge Programming to Wellness Studios Nationwide

LOS ANGELES, July 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Pause, the modern wellness studio reimagining recovery through science-backed therapies, has partnered with Alo Moves, the award-winning holistic wellness platform from Alo Yoga, to debut an immersive Contrast Breathwork Series at Pause locations across the country.

Guests can now experience Alo Moves’ expert-led practices in a whole new way—brought to life inside Pause’s thoughtfully designed contrast therapy suites. Each room is equipped with a full-spectrum infrared sauna, a cold plunge tub, a private shower, and a mounted iPad beside the plunge, preloaded with Alo Moves programming. This collaboration marks a new era of accessible wellness, seamlessly blending digital tools with in-person recovery.

A New Dimension for Digital Wellness

Known for its robust on-demand library spanning strength, yoga, Pilates, self-care, and mindfulness, Alo Moves enters new territory with Pause. With 25 Pause locations opening nationwide by the end of 2025, including new studios in Miami this summer, the rollout brings Alo Moves’ transformative programming to life through immersive in-person experiences, deepening the brand’s presence beyond the screen and fostering even greater connection with communities coast to coast.

“This partnership unlocks a powerful new way for people to engage with Alo Moves,” says Natasha Trindall, General Manager of Alo Moves.. “Whether they’re longtime members or just beginning their wellness journey, guests now have the opportunity to engage with our expert-backed programming in a setting designed to support recovery, sustainable mindful living, and a truly balanced approach to wellness.”

Guided Cold Plunge, Backed by Breath

Led by Wim Hof certified instructor Kira Mae Kazuko, the new Contrast Therapy Series offers a progressive audio library designed for all levels. Guests can choose from guided meditations ranging from 30 seconds to 3.5 minutes to deepen their experience and get the most out of each plunge.

“Cold plunges are incredibly effective—but they can also be intimidating,” shares Jeff Ono, Co-founder and President of Pause. “Our goal is to give guests not just a private space to recover, but the tools to drop in and do it well. That’s where Alo Moves comes in.”

Ongoing Collaboration and Community Activation

Beyond the in-room experience, the partnership will feature live activations, exclusive referral benefits, and collaborative events—designed to reward both Alo Moves members and Pause guests. Plans are underway to expand Alo Moves’ immersive audio programming to other services at Pause, including guided meditations tailored to float therapy, cryotherapy, LED light beds, and more.

“Pause is growing quickly, and we’re committed to partnering with brands who share our values and vision,” says John Klein, CEO and Co-Founder of Pause. “This collaboration with Alo Moves brings two leading wellness voices together under the mission of making mind-body care more personal, powerful, and accessible.
