A Multifaceted Tool Supporting Clinicians, Researchers and Patients
The HFSA Heart Failure Clinic Database is a multi-faceted tool, offering benefits to many key stakeholders. The database includes data points such as clinic locations, services, staffing levels, procedures (e.g., heart transplants, left ventricular assist device surgery), and research activities. Industry will benefit as well by having access to key data and information that is not currently available in one easy-to-use location.
With the HFSA Heart Failure Clinic Database, HFSA sets a new standard for data accessibility in HF treatment.
Growing Tool – Future Updates Anticipated
As clinics enter data, the network will grow and expand, therefore, clinics are urged to register their clinic. Additionally, HFSA will continue to offer enhancements, such as reports and benchmarking tools.
As it grows, the HFSA Heart Failure Clinic Database will empower patients with valuable insights for better treatment decisions, help identify HF care gaps and inequities, facilitate research collaboration, and help clinicians improve their staffing and resource allocation.
The HFSA Heart Failure Clinic Database is being supported by Alnylam, Bayer, BridgeBio, Cytokinetics, and Daiichi Sankyo, organizations that share HFSA’s goals of being committed to serving the community and reducing the burden of HF.
Exclusive HFSA Member Access
HFSA members receive exclusive access to critical datapoints in the Database as a benefit of membership in the society. HF professionals who are not yet HFSA members are encouraged to join for expanded access.
