Invictus Foundation™ Receives Grant from CSX to Install a Behavioral Telehealth Platform in its Southeastern Regional Welcome Home Network and Continue the Capital Construction Planning for Eight Regional TBI & Behavioral Health Centers Across the Nation

SEATTLE, Aug. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — To the Invictus Foundation, CSX’s support represents the best of good corporate citizenship,” states Peter J Whalen, Founder and CEO of the Invictus Foundation. “It’s tremendously uplifting for the people we represent to see their service validated by a marquee corporate brand such as CSX. Importantly, that validation comes with a willingness by CSX to financially underwrite improved access and increased TBI and behavioral health services to our uniformed personnel, their families and veterans who have experienced the crucible of war.”

For far too many of those that have served and those that are currently serving, the recognition comes only in the form of the spoken word. To have CSX exhibit an understanding of its corporate responsibility to be an exemplar of permanency in caring for the people who have served or who are currently serving this Nation so selflessly on our behalf as the sentinels of our democracy is deeply appreciated,” Mr. Whalen further states.

“CSX is partnering with the Invictus Foundation to expand access to vital traumatic brain injury and behavioral health services for military service members, veterans, and their families,” said LaSandra Boykin, Director of Community Investment at CSX. “The Foundation’s work directly supports those who have served our country, aligning with CSX’s longstanding commitment to strengthen the veteran community through meaningful partnerships, and as a proud employer of those who’ve worn the uniform.”
