Bridge to Life Appoints David Castiglioni as Chief Commercial Officer to Head Global Commercial Operations and Lead the U.S. Commercialization of VitaSmart™

In this role, Mr. Castiglioni will be responsible for all global commercial operations, with an immediate focus on preparing for the U.S. launch of the VitaSmart™ Hypothermic Oxygenated Perfusion System upon FDA clearance. The United States represents the largest global market for machine perfusion technology.

Mr. Castiglioni brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in healthcare, medtech, and biotechnology. He has a proven record of building high-performing commercial teams, scaling early-stage ventures into global businesses, and driving transformative growth. Most notably, during his tenure at Intuitive Surgical, one of medtech’s most notable success stories, he built and led commercial teams that drove adoption of the da Vinci surgical system, helping to establish the company as a market leader.

He has since served as CCO at Hyperfine, MediGO (acquired by CareDx), and Siren Care, where he consistently delivered rapid revenue growth and successful go-to-market strategies across the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
