New council will guide symplr’s innovation to deliver solutions that support clinical excellence and give nurses more time to focus on patient care
HOUSTON, Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — symplr®, a leading provider of enterprise healthcare operations software, today announced the launch of its Nurse Executive Advisory Council ahead of the ANCC Magnet® Conference. The council will be chaired by Susan Grant, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, Chief Clinical Officer at symplr, and will bring together experienced nursing executives from across the industry to provide insight into the most pressing challenges, both current and future state, facing clinicians and healthcare leaders.
The council will advise on issues such as clinician and nurse well-being, staffing optimization, and the development and integration of emerging technologies and platforms to streamline clinical workflows. With 600,000 nurses potentially leaving the profession by 2027 and symplr’s 2025 Compass Survey finding that 85% of clinicians want more influence in decision-making, hospitals face an urgent need to implement solutions that relieve administrative burden, strengthen retention, and protect patient care quality.
