Amida Chosen for Inclusion in North Carolina’s Department of Health and Human Services Agreement to Advance AI and ML

Amida joins select vendor pool to design and implement best-in-class solutions for Medicaid

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Amida Technology Solutions, Inc, (Amida) a software services company that solves the most complex challenges in data interoperability, data exchange, data governance, and data security, today announced that it has been selected by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) to support their modernization efforts in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and business process re-engineering.

NCDHHS has competitively selected a pre-qualified set of firms to provide consulting, solution design, and implementation services in AI, ML and data-driven modernization across the entire agency, including Medicaid. Amida was chosen to support the Department’s efforts to streamline eligibility, audit, compliance, and analytic functions based on their decade-long experience in health data administration, and their state of the art solutions for AI infrastructure.

“Inclusion on this list of qualified vendors is a direct result of Amida’s commitment to turning complex health data into actionable insights,” said Mukundan Srinivasan, Amida’s newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, and previously CIO of Virginia’s Department of Medical Assistance Services. “Few teams have our reputation and profile in automated claims processing, advanced data pipelines, and leading-edge agentic AI solutions. We are honored to bring that experience, expertise, and excellence to North Carolina.”

Matt McCall, Amida co-founder and Director of Health Technology, added, “State governments everywhere are modernizing the way they collect, administer, and analyze healthcare data. NCDHHS’s initiative is a truly forward-looking model; they are applying AI and automation tools to provide faster, more accurate, and cost-effective decision-support services. This is a great match between their needs and our capabilities.”

Amida is teamed with LexisNexis® Risk Solutions, which combines their expertise in identity analytics and large-scale data modernization, with Amida’s graph-based information models and industry-leading AI readiness solutions.
