BTIG Expands Research and Strategy Unit with Senior Healthcare IT and Digital Health Analyst David Larsen

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BTIG announced today that David Larsen, CFA, has joined the firm’s Healthcare Research team as a Managing Director and senior Healthcare IT and Digital Health Analyst. Mr. Larsen will be based in BTIG’s Boston office and report to David Lenchus, Director of Research, at BTIG.

Prior to BTIG, Mr. Larsen was the Founder and Senior Analyst in Healthcare IT and Digital Health at Verity Research. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst and Managing Director in Healthcare IT and Distribution Research at SVB Leerink, where he spent more than a decade. Earlier in his career, Mr. Larsen was an Associate Analyst within Healthcare Services at Cowen and Company and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. He was also a Senior Consultant within the Healthcare Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a Senior Financial Analyst at the provider service network, Care-Group Health System. Institutional Investor recognized Mr. Larsen as a Rising Star in 2011, 2012 and 2013 for healthcare technology and distribution coverage. In 2015, he was recognized by the Starmine Awards as the #1 earnings predictor for healthcare providers and services. Mr. Larsen earned an MBA in healthcare management and entrepreneurship from Boston University and a BA in economics from Boston College. He is also a member of the CFA Society of Boston.
