Company Adds Healthcare Expertise to C-Suite With Cerner Executive Hire and Appoints Strategy Officer Amid Record Demand for Hospital Operations Solutions
NEWTON, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hospital IQ, the leading predictive hospital operations and communications software provider, has named Nate Kelly its inaugural Chief Commercial Officer. Nate will lead the company’s newly formed commercial organization consisting of sales, sales operations, business development, and clinical solutions. Hospital IQ has also announced the strategic promotion of Jason Harber from Executive Vice President of Operations to Chief Operating Officer & Chief Strategy Officer.
Kelly, a health technology veteran, joins Hospital IQ after spending fifteen years in various leadership roles at HIT industry giant and strategic partner of Hospital IQ’s – Cerner. Most recently, Nate served as Vice President and General Manager of Cerner’s Health Networks division, where he was responsible for over $200M in annual U.S. sales. Prior, he was GM of its Health System Operations division and oversaw product management, development, and go-to-market – growing the business unit five-fold in four years. With extensive industry experience, Nate has a deep understanding of Hospital IQ’s products and their value to drive operational excellence. Kelly joins the team amid a momentous period for the company, having secured $25M in Series C funding in May 2021. Since 2020, Hospital IQ has grown its customer base by 50%, garnering 14x adoption rates of its operations management platform among hospitals and health systems.

Jason will maintain his existing responsibilities and step into an expanded role of ensuring the strong alignment of product, marketing, and GTM strategy across the entire company.
