SANTA BARBARA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#ATA19—InTouch Health, ranked 2019 Best in KLAS for Virtual Care Platforms, announced today the entry of Solo™ by InTouch, their next-generation software platform, into Epic’s App Orchard. “Digital health solutions need to seamlessly integrate with a health system’s EHR platform. In the past year, we have seen many organizations abandon the video-based Epic integrated solutions on the market today due to poor performance, ” said Joseph M. DeVivo, CEO at InTouch Health. “As a managed service provider, we proactively monitor our network to consistently maintain an industry-leading connection success rate and service availability. Integrating our video platform capabilities within Epic gives our customers streamlined workflows while leveraging the industry’s leading telehealth network purpose-built for healthcare.”
By using the Solo™ by InTouch video platform capabilities, providers will be able to:
- Leverage context-aware linking for easy implementation
- Integrate with and optimize existing EHR-based workflows
- Access video consults, patient data, scheduling capabilities, and medical imaging on a single platform
- Utilize intake capabilities to bring on-demand patients into virtual care consultations
- Collaborate with multiple providers and clinical staff within the app to coordinate care consultations in real time
“We are excited to be a part of Epic’s App Orchard program. InTouch Health is pushing the boundaries of healthcare by deploying effective methods of delivering the highest-quality care possible, reducing administrative burnout, and creating cost savings by leveraging existing systems,” added DeVivo. “We are committed to EHR interoperability as an extension of our platform’s core capabilities to create lasting value for our health system partners.”
