Willis-Knighton Health System Signs to Implement MEDITECH Expanse

The largest healthcare system in North Louisiana renews long-term partnership with MEDITECH to deploy the fully-integrated EHR platform across all care settings

WESTWOOD, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#EHR–Willis-Knighton Health System (Shreveport, LA) announced it has signed to implement MEDITECH’s mobile, web-based Enterprise Health Record (EHR), Expanse, across its five hospitals and 140 clinics. The health system shares MEDITECH’s vision for improving patient care through advanced technologies, and saw immense value in the vendor’s progressive solutions, including Expanse Population Health, which will enable them to deliver care that reaches far beyond the hospital and physician’s office.

Cutting-edge technology combined with a previous long-term relationship with MEDITECH were key factors in Willis-Knighton’s decision to move to Expanse. The organization had deployed MEDITECH’s legacy system in the 90’s and more recently utilized another EHR solution.
