MEDL Mobile Wins Gold In The Mobile App Category At The Orange County Chapter Of The American Advertising Federation Addy Awards

IRVINE, Calif., March 26, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — MEDL Mobile was awarded Gold in the AAFOC’s 2019 Addy Awards Mobile App category after a mobile app they developed on behalf of Body Surface Translations was chosen by a panel of industry experts who led the judging process.

The Mobile App category included submissions from interactive mobile apps for tablets, smartphones and wearable devices. MEDL Mobile built “AutoAnthro” to work with existing hardware technology to take a 3-D scan of a child, enabling for a quicker, easier, and more accurate way of gathering a child’s measurements to identify stunting in at-risk children.

Ultimately, the app helped Body Surface Translations secure a grant from the Gates Foundation and was featured on stage at the Gates Foundation Goalkeepers event.

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions.
