PITTSBURGH, March 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — In an effort to help healthcare professionals manage the health of patients and employees during the Coronavirus outbreak, Net Health is offering a webinar to share how the CEO of a healthcare organization is leveraging Net Health’s Agility® software solution to track and monitor both patient and employee exposure to the virus. The webinar will be held on Tuesday, March 24, at 2 p.m. Register for the webinar.

“Following best practices for symptom and exposure tracking is critical at a time like this,” said Net Health CEO Josh Pickus. “We know that hospitals and healthcare organizations are going to be  concerned about adequately maintaining records of their employees, how many have symptoms, how many are home, and who is actually sick, and we want our users to be aware of the best practices for tracking and monitoring these items during outbreaks such as this one.”

Pickus continued: “We’ve been thinking about what we can do to help as the provider of a documentation solution designed to monitor the health of employees, and we’ve decided that sharing best practices that we have picked up from our customers is the best approach. One of our clients using Agility has graciously agreed to share his experience and discuss critical software functionality that is helping his organization be more effective at identifying, tracking and monitoring patients and employees who have symptoms or who have the virus.”

Gene Howell, CEO of Los Angeles-based Reliant Urgent Care, which includes an occupational medicine business, will share specific use cases, in which Agility has helped solve problems and maximized efficiency. His high-volume clinic at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) manages 500 patients a day and has been asked by a number of companies to screen and test hundreds of employees for the virus.

Howell is a black belt Agility user and is making use of the system’s flexibility to adapt to the current situation. He will discuss how some of the features and functionality are making a difference, such as the ability to:

  • Adapt on the spot to continually changing regulations as the crisis unfolds
  • Customize functionality based on clinic needs, such as generating pop-alerts for staff
  • Reduce workload and streamline efficiency with a quick loading feature that enables his staff to enter data for a test or exposure only one time for multiple people

Net Health’s Agility® addresses the needs of employee health and occupational medicine facilities as well as urgent care organizations that provide occupational health services.
