Spire Orthopedic Partners Appoints Dr. Shaden Marzouk as Chief Executive Officer
STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Spire Orthopedic Partners today announced the appointment of Shaden Marzouk, MD, MBA, as Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Marzouk brings significant experience leading large, multi-site healthcare platforms, with a focus on scaling operations, strengthening physician alignment, and expanding access to high-quality care. She has a track record of building and growing physician-led organizations while maintaining a focus on clinical excellence and operational discipline.

Most recently, Dr. Marzouk served as CEO of GenesisCare, where she led initiatives to support growth and enhance operational performance. Prior to that, she served as President and CEO of Care Delivery at Anthem (now Elevance Health), overseeing a large, diversified care delivery portfolio. She has also held senior leadership roles at AXA and Cardinal Health, with responsibility spanning strategy, operations, and clinical leadership.
Marzouk began her career as a neurosurgeon and served as a Major in the U.S. Army. She holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, an MD from St. Louis University School of Medicine, and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis. She serves on multiple boards and advises companies in AI and health technology.
