CureMD Earns ISO/IEC 42001 Certification for Responsible AI as It Advances Agentic Care
Certification covers AI Scribe, AI Medical Coder, AI Patient Contact Center and Clinical Trials
NEW YORK, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — CureMD Healthcare today announced that its Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) has been certified to ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the international standard for responsible AI management.
The independent audit certified CureMD’s AI governance processes across its full lifecycle, including risk and impact management, security, transparency, human oversight, incident response, ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement.

The certification covers CureMD’s AI solutions suite, including:
AI Scribe turns clinical conversations into specialty-specific documentation, adds codes, drafts orders and creates follow-up tasks for the physician to review and approve.
AI Medical Coder assigns and validates diagnosis and procedure codes while checking documentation against CMS and payer requirements, helping practices to reduce compliance risk and claim denials.
AI Patient Contact Center delivers multilingual, 24/7 support to seamlessly manage scheduling, registration, intake, eligibility verification, prescription refills, access to test results and payments.
Clinical Trials uses natural-language criteria to identify trial candidates and evaluate their eligibility, which shortens the time it takes to build a trial cohort.
Advancing Agentic Care
CureMD is testing several AI agents that connect and automate work across the care journey, covering pre-visit preparation, care gap detection, clinical decision support, patient follow-up and revenue cycle operations.
Additional agents in development will handle prior authorization, clinical assistance, AI fax management and closed-loop referrals. Each is designed to replace a fragmented, reactive process with a coordinated workflow, while clinicians remain responsible for decision making.
The ISO/IEC 42001 certification adds to CureMD’s existing credentials: ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security, ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management, SOC 2 Type II compliance and ONC Health IT certification.
