Pillar Biosciences and Collaborators to Present NGS Data Across Solid Tumors, Liquid Biopsy, and Heme Malignancies at 2026 Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) Annual Meeting

health news

NATICK, Mass., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Pillar Biosciences today announced that ten scientific posters featuring their NGS technology will be presented, including a platform presentation at the 2026 Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) Annual Meeting & Expo in Seattle, WA, November 10-14. Pillar will also host three corporate workshop presentations during which laboratory leaders from Duke University Medical Center, the European Institute of Oncology, and the University of Pennsylvania Health System will share their own experience with Pillar’s rapid NGS panels. The research spans data generated on liquid biopsy, solid tumor profiling, lymphoid malignancies, measurable residual disease in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and automated NGS library preparation. Academic and industry collaborators presenting their work include Duke University Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the University of Pennsylvania Health System, the European Institute of Oncology, Labcorp, Advocate Health, Genotypos, and Hamilton Company.

“Laboratories’ need for rapid NGS has expanded steadily, from tissue-based tumor profiling to hematologic malignancies, and now to liquid biopsy and residual disease monitoring,” said Dan Harma, Chief Commercial Officer of Pillar Biosciences. “This year’s posters, most of them presented by our collaborators, show laboratories bringing rapid, local NGS into each of these areas, from ESR1 testing in plasma to MRD assessment in AML. We’re grateful to the cancer centers and laboratories sharing their work, and we’ll keep working to make precise, accessible NGS a front-line tool in precision oncology.”
