ClearCam Appoints Dr. Ryan Egeland as Adviser on Commercial and Corporate Strategy
Experienced medtech executive to guide strategic partnerships, commercialization and corporate growth
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — ClearCam, Inc. today appointed Ryan Egeland, MD, PhD, MBA, as adviser on commercial and corporate strategy. His medtech leadership and commercialization experience includes executive positions at Solventum, Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (CSI), Crossfire Medical, Medtronic, Covidien and ev3.
ClearCam is advancing its ClearScope™ product family and expanding discussions with medical technology companies. Egeland will advise ClearCam’s leadership team on commercial priorities, strategic partnerships and pathways to broader adoption of its technologies for minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery.

Egeland’s advisory work will focus on positioning these capabilities for commercial success and potential industry collaboration.

Egeland served as Solventum’s chief medical officer, leading global medical and clinical affairs. Before that, he served as chief executive officer of Crossfire Medical and as head of strategic ventures and chief medical officer at CSI. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and was a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, where he completed a PhD and MBA.
